Swedish Limpa Bread


Earlier I said I would give my report on the limpa. Well. . . I am not exactly sure how I feel about it. It turned out pretty and was very easy to make. I know I like the flavor orange, but maybe not in my bread. I know I like the flavor fennel, but maybe I’m just used to it in Italian food. I’m pretty sure I am not crazy about the two flavors together. I’m not giving up on The Great Scandinavian Baking Book though. This was recipe one. I will probably do a “three strikes and you’re out” rule but there is still a lot of promise in the book. Next up from the book will probably be the Danish Almond Cinnamon Rolls. Yum! Hoping for a better flavor combination.
