Since we have a bushel of Cortland apples over here courtesy of the neighbors, we have been going a little apple crazy! Here is one of my favorite things to make this time of year. They are so simple and fun to make- especially for the kids. These are dipped in melted Brach’s caramels and then dipped in pecan chips. Melted semi-sweet chocolate is poured on top and topped with more pecans. The combinations are endless and the Cortland apple is the perfect tart (yet not too tart) apple to use for these. Also, I like to use smaller apples so that Andrew can have his own without my having to worry too much about all the sugar he’s getting. I on the other hand usually need two . . .
