Book vs the Movie- The Horse Whisperer

the-horse-whisperer

I am taking a little hiatus from blogging this month so that I can participate it National Novel Writing Month. So far I am right on track to meet the 50,000 word goal.

In the meantime, if you want to follow along for “Book vs the Movie” I am reading The Horse Whisperer and will compare it to the movie which I have not seen in a few weeks. So far the book is pretty good!

Any suggestions on what my next Book vs Movie comparison should be?

**UPDATE** In my opinion, the book far outshines the movie effort. About the only thing I enjoyed about the movie was the scenery. A young Scarlett Johansson is in the movie, which makes it tolerable. The book is good, except I hated the mother character so it was a little agonizing to read every night. I suppose you aren’t supposed to love all the characters in all the books all the time!

Less Than Zero! I’ve only seen a couple of the movie scenes, and I’m curious if it’s worth killing the braincells for an hour and a half.

OOOH I love that movie! I will definitely put that next on the list. I didn’t realize it was a movie. Thanks, Caleb!

Hi. I stumble upon your blog while surfing. Have you read “Memoirs of a Geisha” written by Arthur Golden? It was made into a movie called “Sayuri” but I prefer the book. I enjoyed the book a lot and read it twice.

Yeah! That’s a great one to compare! The movie was beautiful, the book amazing. I’ll have to put that one up for debate!
